The International Economic Forum on Latin America and the Caribbean is one of the most prominent Europe based events devoted to public policies in Latin America and the Caribbean. Every year, leaders from the public and private sectors as well as high-level representatives from international organisations gather to discuss different aspects of the continent's economic development. The LAC Forum 2019 focused on the relationship between inequalities and technologies and shared best practices towards more inclusive societies within the countries of the region. The Forum participants also discussed the technological environment and innovation incentives as enablers to ensure more equal LAC economies.
This event is a joint effort between the Inter-American Development Bank, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of France, and the OECD Development Centre.
